About Us

Our team at The Benefit Assistant consists of experienced and educated  professionals from backgrounds including social work, psychology, insurance and IT.

Each and every one of us are carers ourselves and we have combined experience of over 40 years in understanding the difficulties in navigating the world of welfare benefits and the sheer confusion and exhaustion of having to complete an application for a possible award.

The Benefit Assistant exists to take this stress and loss of time away from you by using our wealth of experience to chat with you, understand your needs and complete your welfare benefit application. In just one brief telephone consultation we can explore your eligibility for benefits and explain the process to you.

We offer a wealth of help covering many welfare benefits, and this list is non exhaustive - if you need help with an application not listed please do ask and we will see if we can help.

We operate  a simple and transparent fee structure so you'll have no hidden surprises when it comes to cost. There are just a few simple steps to have your claim form in the post to the Department of Work and Pensions.

  •  A visit to the chiropodist  AND

  • A  gardener  visiting each fortnight AND

  • A cleaner  for an hour a week  AND

  • Still some left over for lunch with a friend.

It does not matter if you have savings, or own your home - if you have had a medical condition for six months or more that affects your day to day life please give us a call now and lets see how we can help you.
